White Rocks Amphitheater is a wonderful rock formation in Snow Canyon State Park north of St George off SR-18 (Bluff St). This is an easy hike with breathtaking views of Navajo (white) and Kayenta (red) sandstone. The Amphitheater is comprised of Navajo sandstone formed into a bowl that is easily climbed due to “grippy” nature of the rock as well as the “basketweave” cracks which provide almost a staircase structure.

Wear appropriate shoes and clothing. This is considered an easy hike, but there may be some sand and easy climbing.
